The emotion of a romance and the intensity of a suspense plot, in the drama of the Australian landscape – this is the rich combination that Bronwyn’s books explore.
Although she spent some years living in cities, Bronwyn’s home for the past twenty years has been in the stunning New England tablelands of northern New South Wales. She lives with her husband on 100 acres of regrowth bush, surrounded by trees, kangaroos, wallabies, possums, a myriad of birds, and the occasional echidnas and koalas. The wilderness of the gorge country is just a few kilometres away, where the Great Dividing Range’s dramatic escarpment drops down to sea level. Bronwyn loves to travel, and frequently wanders through the countryside and further on into the outback – great inspiration for her gritty romantic suspense novels, set in on the edge of the NSW outback.
As Darkness Falls and Dark Country are published by Hachette Australia and in the UK by Piatkus.
